Extraction and Drying of the Bark
Cork material is made from the bark of the cork oak tree, so the bark is first collected and extracted. The collected bark must be peeled before being cut into small pieces and placed in a drying chamber for drying to ensure the quality and suitability of the bark.
Crush Into Particles Of Different Sizes
The dried bark will be crushed into particles of different sizes for subsequent use in making different products. This process is usually accomplished using a high-speed grinder.
Processing Cork Chips
Cork chips are added to eco-friendly glues to bond and press cork boards, bricks and other products. This process usually involves multiple processes, such as mixing and bonding operations.
